Have you sent an Easter package yet? I hope not 'cause I have a few more requests: I'm running low on vitamins again...I guess that's it really, unless you want a detailed list of every random thought I have during the week. We moved into our new place on Fri (literally - it took all day, but moving two people in a one bedroom apartment just a few blocks is certainly easier than moving an entire family plus 20 years of stuff across the country). It used to be a 2-car garage that has been converted into a nice little studio apartment - just perfect for a couple of missionaries. Certain members of our ward even provided us with brand new beds and a couch so we left behind everything missionary-apartmentey; now we just hope they keep sisters here for a while - it's too nice for elders (can I say that without offending someone? It really is nice.) We think that was also part of the ward's motivation, everyone always says they're so glad they have sisters and they want to keep us forever. Speaking of sister missionaries, a young lady in one of our wards just received her mission call to the Texas Houston Mission. Now, I've heard of a few other people in the Houston East or Houston South missions and I wondered "How many missions are in Houston? Which mission are we in?" Well, when I looked through her call packet I examined the map and guess what? We're in her mission! I know we don't have sisters in our ward, and they took the sisters out of the single's ward a while ago, but you never know, maybe you guys will meet each other! Anyway, I just thought that was cool. Did you get the chance to watch the YW broadcast? It was fabulous, I encourage you to go online and watch it (it's always better in person than just reading it) especially Pres. Uchtdorf's talk. I already can't wait for the conference issue of the Ensign, I want to take notes and mark up all the talks.
After a drought of a couple weeks I got all five letters from the girls in one night, I was so excited I even took a picture of me and my bounty; it was great to hear all about your trip, don't forget to send pictures! I hope you're all feeling better. (Editor's note: Amy, Tasha, and I went to the mountains of Idaho for Spring Break. We all came down with colds the week before leaving, so the beginning of the trip was mildly unpleasant.) Mom and Dad - are you taking pictures, too? It sounds like you're having far too much fun for people of your advanced years, wandering through foreign countries all by your lonesomes - far too dangerous, you should bring one of your children along...like me, for example. (Editor's note: Mom and Dad got to spend a week in China and a week in Japan.) Next week we're gonna try to get more computer time so I can send some pictures and figure out the best way to send some videos.
Be good, read your scriptures, pray always.
Much Love
-me
